Just because there isn’t snow at The Ranch for the holiday’s doesn’t mean it won’t feel like Christmas. Holidays in the desert may seem like an odd concept for those who relish in a white Christmas, but it’s better than you think. Tanque Verde Ranch goes all out to transform the ranch into a holiday bonanza.
Troy and the property services crew make it their personal mission to ensure everything is ready for the holiday season. Thanksgiving is the beginning of it all, with a dinner spread like no other by Chef Sergio and his culinary team and the spirit doesn’t end in the kitchen till Christmas.
To decorate The Ranch, four 16 foot Christmas trees have been ordered, 1000’s of feet in Christmas lights, and a plethora of poinsettias to be places across the desert as décor. Our own Rita Cote leads the decorating process herself, putting a family tradition touch to the whole process.
Santa always makes an appearance at The Ranch on Christmas Eve and Daryl leads Christmas carols that leave the cacti dancing in the distance. Wyatt Earp will also join us for an evening of poker at The Doghouse Saloon and so much more. There is nothing like The Ranch when eliminated by Christmas lights under the desert sky.
The holiday season makes a wrap with our famous New Year’s Eve bingo night that is fun for everyone of all ages. It truly is a season to be endured, and Tanque Verde Ranch does it big. Come down to Tucson this holiday season and start a new family tradition of your own!
